An introduction of Wudang Mountain Baxianguan Tea Plantation
Location
Baxianguan Tea Plantation is located in the most famous Taoist holy Wudang Mountain in northwest of Hubei Province. Series of beautiful mountains with clear water and good ecological balance environment lines there. It is an ideal place to produce high quality tea.
40 years development
The tea plantation has been developing for more than 40 years. It has more than 3000 mu ecological organic tea gardens. The plantation can produce 25,000 kg famous high quality tea each year, and can generate profit over RMB10, 000,000 Yuan per year.
The plantation is equipped with a standard management, good equipment and high technique. In 2000, our tea has been certified as organic tea by EU, which is the first tea plantation in Hubei province to pass EU on producing organic agricultural products attestation. We also got the safety license of food production, export health registration, ISO9000 international quality system, etc.What¡¯s more, we got Asia Pacific (International) Low Carbon Agriculture Award on April 29th 2010.
The plantation has invested over RMB6, 000,000 Yuan to build high quality tea workshop. The plantation has achieved successful by cooperating with many scientific research institutions. The plantation has developed more than 20 kinds of tea products, such as Wudang Zhenjing Tea, Wudang Kungfu Tea, and Wudang Taoism Black Tea etc.

As a typical modern agricultural plantation, Baxianguan Tea Plantation insists the development of human beings should base on nature. Depending on good ecological environment, the plantation sticks to innovative technology to achieve a sustainable development way with population, economy, society, resources and environment all in harmony.
The plantation has been awarded the title of Civilization Village by the government of Hubei Province. In 1999, it was especially named the original place of Chinese Taoist tea culture by the China Ministry of Agricultur
